Niloy Rafiq – VEILED IN SHAME

VEILED IN SHAME
Immortal Titumir, fifty-two roses in bloom,
The red of green fields etched in history’s tomb.
In skies of freedom, the artisan sketches dreams,
Endless gold coins gleam in wonder’s gaze.

Beneath unseen wheels, the chest becomes a map, Blood-soaked satchels blaze in parades of light.
Slogans in uniform, roads under construction-
Dhritarashtra cloaked in shame, blinds the tree-lit truth.

On the chariot of thirst, shameless laughter dies,
The laborer’s lifeline sucked dry by the reel of toil.
A work line of errors, a mirror grown pale—
Yet pure love marches toward a beautiful tomorrow.

From path to path, in melody’s breath, creation prays,
In human dignity, peace and unity find their name

 NILOY RAFIQ – SWARUPKATHI-1

SWARUPKATHI-1

In the garden of beauty, Swarupkathi glows-
A palace of verses, dancing with words,
Where flowers of mystic melody blaze
In the forest cave of time’s peddler.

On a night of art, in Nilachal’s hush,
Nature converses in quiet tones, A cloud-maiden waits at the gaze’s estuary,
Love’s touchstone stirs a storm in the sea-

Yet joy voyages to Sonadia, the isle of love.
Beneath creation’s seedbed, poetry takes form,
Its face, the pole star of nature’s sky.
In the chariot’s procession, treasure lies hidden
Within the nectar-school’s enchanted heritage.
